I will have to check that out, Just got done doing a transmission and rear end swap in my shortbed Comanche
Replaced the growling howling AX-4 with rebuilt AX-5 and that whining D35 got replaced by an AMC-20
I figured going from a 4spd n 3.73s to a 5spd and 4.10s might have dogged it out a bit in the high side but it didn't runs about the same RPM/MPH in 5th as the old setup in 4th 67mph@3,000rpm to 70mph@3,000rpm and way snappier off the line.
I also corrected the speedo by swapping speedo gear with one from the Comanche I got the rear end from according to GPS its spot on.
