Well, I'm new here, So Hi guys!

Just bought my first FSJ and I'm in process of building the motor right now, and trying to figure out just how bad the PO screwed it up. I bought it to be an offroad toy, so I'm not too worried about the pretty stuff, but I still have a long way to go. Looking forward to gettin it going and maybe having someone to wheel with when done!

Hi, from Texarkana. It's real nice to see people from so close, I thought I was the only one around.

Hey everyone,
I found your site after one of my friends suggested i find a forum for my truck, he owns a Passat (VW, boo) and gets all his stuff, suggestions, meets, car shows from a forum he goes to, he suggested to me that i find one for my truck, and guys where the first interesting one to pop up.
I am a new driver, and my father passed down his 1981 Jeep J-10, standard, 4-wheel drive, in-line 6 cylinder truck to me (though he might take it back once i fixed it up). As far as i am aware, im the only one in the Galveston area that has one, but unfortunately it needs "some" work done it, and still needs to be trucked from Georgia to here(hence the pine tree background and the out of state license plate on my avatar)
I don't have a lot of time on my hands, but ill try to read all the posts and what not you have on the forum and will take any and all advice on how to make my truck as awesome as the ones I've skimmed through on the builds/ pics.

Thanks,
Snipester117

While I'm sure that there are others from farther away I just wanted to add that there are many fans of the FSJ here in Canada too. Glad to be here!

Hi all from Centerville. Finally got round to buying my own jeep and within 6 weeks I already have a second and hunting a 3rd :idk: so I figured I better join the local "support group". I am also 4014x4 on the IFSJA forum in case any one is wondering.

You already got the disease bad. Look for oil and ATF trails while you're hunting. Those tracks always lead to a Jeep. Welcome to the local support group.
