Forum Email Probs

Postby Larry » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:08 am

I just noticed some recent email sending errors in the log files that appear to be system errors. This may be a result of me requesting the Internet hosting service to upgrade the forum to the latest version of PhpBB, or it could be some random system errors from the hosting service. I'm not sure yet. So if you sent an email through this forum in the last 2 or 3 weeks it may not have been received by the recipient. Try using PMs until I can get it straightened out.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Would someone email me (the email icon under my profile info) and post that an email has been sent.
Be sure and include something in the subject and body.

I think the problem is fixed and it was just a hosting service glitch or something, but I need an email from someone to verify.
(There was a few emails that didn't go through.)

I saw a couple more email errors in the system logs. :grumble:

You might want to use PMs until I can figure out what's causing it. It seemed to have been working fine before. :idk:

It turns out that it is a recently discovered system bug with this version of PhpBB. :pullhair:

It should actually be fixed now.
