I think my timing chain has slipped and I really don't have the cash to pay some shop to do the replacement and I cant do that type of work in my driveway. So is anyone in the Houston area have space to do the work?

I'll take you up on the work space. This should be something done in a day and having someone around that has just done it would be big help. Touch base with him to see if he can help on that weekend.

Ok finally figured out what the "H" was going on. After replacing plugs, wires, cap and rotor and not getting the thing running right i checked pulled the cap and rotor then found that the pickup coil was cracked. So off i go to the parts house replace the pickup coil and the thing runs like its got 50 more HP.

Anyways thanks for the help offer.
