I definitely wouldn't mind having some input from him on that.

Did you drop the ford V8 idea? I have a 1990 Ford F350 460 V8 EFI engine, E4OD transmission and BW 1357 transfer case that I am installing in my 88 Grand Wagoneer. I have the engine and transmission in the GW at the moment and it fit very well. I did have to change to hydroboost for the brakes and the factory heater box may be an issue. I have not tried the heater box since getting the motor mounts modified to hold that big hunk of iron but it looks like the heater box might sneak back in. All of this fit under the hood and between the fender perfectly. The radiator will even work. I may have to get creative and the lower radiator connection, but it is in the right place. One other item that will change is the fuel tank. I am going to go with a rear larger tank. This gives me all of the room in the world underneath.
Good luck. Keep posting picture. I will try to do the same soon.
