The owner states:
"It is a real factory produced dually that was ordered to be used as a tow truck. I have actually spoken to the original owner's son. The truck was completed by HOLMES in TN and driven back to CT. The truck was restored by myself and several of my friends."
The front clip is from a later AMC JTruck (note the side marker lights, hood bar and "razor" grille.
This wrecker was a feature article in FSJ Magazine Edition # 15 Summer ‘04.
