of the Jeep Wagoneer which was the first true “luxury” 4×4 vehicle. The Jeep
Wagoneer’s production spanned nearly three decades – 28 years total – with
several mechanical improvements that included power steering and automatic
transmission, both of which were seldom heard of in 4×4 vehicles when the
Wagoneer first made its debut. At this point, the Grand Wagoneer from this
period has become a classic, in its styling, quality and features, and
excellent examples have crossed over from the category of utility vehicles
into the realm of the collectible.
No one carries out more thorough, complete and detailed rebuilds of these
iconic trucks than Norbert (http://www.grandwagoneer.com), and many key trim
and interior parts utilized in these "better-than-new" restorations and
rebuilds are now unavailable from any source, at any price. The vehicle on
offer here, a 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer finished in Dover Grey Metallic/
Cordovan, was the subject of one of Norbert's obsessive rebuilds, to an
incredibly high standard of originality, correctness and detail, only five
years and 7,000 miles ago. The process undertaken by Norbert in his
restorations can be seen in detail on his Web site, but suffice it to say
that every single component in the car is removed, rebuilt, refinished or
replaced with OEM, as needed or appropriate. Additionally, detailed photos
illustrating every facet of the restoration on this example can be seen at

correct, OEM alloy wheels, and is in excellent, unmarked condition, inside
and out. The car is kept in the Los Angeles area, and is available for
