****SOLD****1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Katy, TX $800 OBO
Posted: Sun Aug 23, 2009 11:02 pmI bought this 88 Grand Wagoneer orginally to use it for parts for my 79 Cherokee. Thought it was in too nice of condition to tear it apart so i started fixing it up. It has 144xxx miles and is completely rust free, only rust it has is some surface rust on the header panel that was from another wagoneer. It was hit in the front, but I got all the damaged pieces replaced(hood, RH fender, header panel, bumper) It will still need a grill surround, and the RH headlight bezel. The PO said it would overheat, I was thinking radiator, but I never got a chance to look into it. Ive driven it around my storage area just fine, but never on the road. Runs and drives, but I would check into the overheating before driving it on the road, 4x4 works, shifts into high and low. Has dana 44s front and rear. Interior is in pretty good shape, carpet might need shampooing, has a small tear in the drivers seat and on the center arm rest. It has an extra AC that hangs in the back, that is not currently hooked up because I had intentions of taking it out, all it would need for it too work is run the wire back to the battery. The back window does NOT go down, im thinking it has something to do with the rear AC. Radio will need an antenna wire ran to the antenna, for it to work. Other than that its a pretty good truck, comes an extra front driver door, because the orginal door has a noticable dent. Has a clean tx title, Im asking $800 OBO.
